Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society (‘Society”) is an incorporated society (S-56890) in British Columbia and a registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency (80072 0864 RR0001).

The Society started in 2010 and is run by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors. The Board oversees the Executive Director, Management Committees, staff and volunteers who manage the day-to-day operations of the programs.

Muslim Food Bank and Community Services is able to run its programs through donations of money and food. These donations come from individuals, small businesses and organizations as well as various fundraising efforts, such as our annual fundraising event or third party events run by other organizations.

The Society has two main divisions through which the programs are administered; Food Bank and the ASPIRE Community Services.

We are a community based organisation that provides food assistance and advocates self-reliance by providing case management, emotional support, youth development and capacity building.
