Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society (MFBCS) is seeking to hire students for administrative and other positions.   This is a full-time position funded from the Government of Canada of 37.5 hours per week for 9 weeks. Job starting date is June 1st, 2017.

MFBCS is a community based charitable organization established in 2010 that provides food assistance and advocates self-reliance by providing case management, emotional support, youth development and capacity building. Required Skills

  • Works collaboratively with youth, adults and management
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficiency in Arabic and Farsi is preferred

Successful Applicants Must Be:

  • Registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year or intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year;
  • Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, etc)
  • Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial
  • Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.

  • Clean Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
